Copper sink questions and answers

Just about everyone asks me if copper sinks are difficult to care for. That is truly a loaded question. The answer is yes and no! If it is one of our copper sinks, the answer is no. If it is one of the imports, the answer is likely yes. You see, the interior of our sinks are naturally weathered to the patina that would naturally occur over time. There is no special maintenance required. Sadly, most of the imports to not recognize the long term effects of putting a faux or unnatural finish on their sinks. In order to keep them looking good, most companies recommend you dry the sink after every use. That, in my opinion, is high maintenance. Do your homework. Read the use and care, as well as the warranties of every copper sink company you can find. You will find that Rachiele sinks stand far above the rest.
